在大量而且不斷推陳出新的韓劇中，有多少人會花得起時間／有時間去慢慢細讀一部電視劇當中的對白，分析下當中的文化意義？而我認為這些都是造就它「成功」的原因。通俗的韓劇背後的文化元素和所表達的訊息非常具思想價值。對於一些鍾情的作品，我想了解更多，發現它們的內涵原來比想像的豐富，亦可以有很多角度去欣賞。

With the influx of many Korean dramas being so popular globally, how many people can afford time to closely read the dialogue in a TV drama and analyze the cultural significance? I think those are the factors contributing to the “success" of the dramas. The cultural elements behind the popular Korean dramas and the messages expressed are of great value. For some of my favorite works, I want to know more and find that their connotations are richer than I imagined. I hope to share what I got from the dramas and hope we could appreciate them from many angles.

補充：筆者畢業於香港中文大學文學院文化研究系，副修傳理系，曾於本地電影台任職一段短時間，現職為中學教師一名，平常的娛樂之一就是看韓劇。曾學習韓文，先後到過南北韓旅遊，亦喜歡了解韓國文化歷史以及有過與韓國朋友交流的機會，令筆者對韓國影視文化深感興趣。加上筆者熱愛分享生活點滴和個人意見，這個網頁成為她無聊打發時間和抒發情感的平台。

Information of writer: Graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, major in BA. Cultural Studies and minor in Communication and Journalism, I once worked for a local TV company for a short period of time. Now I am a high school teacher. I have studied Korean and have traveled to North and South Korea. I like the history and culture of Korea. Communicating with Korean friends further made me deeply interested in Korean film and television culture.
